Creation Festival Northeast 16'
Thirty thousand. About thirty thousand is how many steps my Fit Bit Blaze recorded my taking during my week at Creation Northeast.
Creation Festival is the nations largest Christian music festival. There are two hosted every year, one to the Northeast and the other to the Northwest. About 50,000 to 100,000 people gather to fellowship with one another outdoors, camping, hiking, eating, attending preachings and sermons as well as watch some of their favorite artists live on different stages set up on the grounds.
There were plenty of great artists performing the week of Creation, many of whom I was looking forward to seeing live. Whether it was Andy Mineo, Newsboys, Jordan Feliz, Tedashi, Michael W. Smith or even For King & Country to name a few, they have all composed several songs I connected with an enjoy. In particular though, I was excited to see For King & Country perform.
The anticipation during the performance was killing me. For King & Country took the stage and everyone was enjoying themselves, singing along and worshiping God. I was anxiously awaiting the moment the lights would go dim and a particular song would play. Suddenly, the sweet sound of a xylophone were heard. At this point I was fighting with myself between occupying my hands and praising God and wanting to hold my camera to capture footage to archive this moment. Needless to say, I was able to manage time for both.
Shared below are both the moment captured of the performance at Creation as well as For King & Country's official music video.
